I am always happy to receive messages from my readers, especially if you want to talk to me about books or writing, or discuss things I've said about books and writing on my blog or elsewhere online.
If you'd like me to ask me a book, reading or writing related question and have me answer in the form of a blogpost, you can leave a comment on my blog. But if you don't want to leave a comment in public or you have more to say than would fit into the comment section, here is the place to get in contact!
Remember though - authors are not qualified to read or comment on your unpublished work. That is an editor's job. Please don't ask me to do it. I will have to say no, and it makes me very uncomfortable. Nor can I recommend you and your work to my agent unless I actually know you personally and think you'd be a good fit (and sending me an email doesn't count as getting to know me personally, sorry).
If you have a homework assignment that requires you to find out certain facts about me or my books, then all the information you need should be available here or on my blog. Please don't send the questions to me directly and expect me to answer them for you. It's been a long time since I left school, but I haven't forgotten that getting other people to do your homework for you is technically cheating (come on, now people).
